Critiques
the sky seems a little bit overcast / flat though, perhaps it would've been even more effective if there had been a little more going on in there.. clouds for example. But also then it would detract from the perfect stillness of it.
i love the horizontal lines of trees and also the rippling water carries that feeling on, combined with the vertical pole (which is not quite vertical!) it plays with the line of vision. the bird tops off the feeling of tranquility, a perfectly quiet and peaceful moment captured.
If you really adore this scene, i suggest going back as much as possible and reshooting, in different weathers, different angles and depth of field/points of focus. Really have a play with the whole scene
